The following resources are intended to help streamline the process for identifying opportunities, soliciting city approvals, and launching your project. The City follows the 2006 International Building Code standards for new construction and renovation. In addition to required permit procedures the City strongly encourages developers and new businesses to engage neighbors and nearby businesses in their planning process. The section titled Community Resources offers more recommendations on how to engage residents and business owners.

If you have a specific question or require additional assistance determining your project needs please contact City Hall at (989) 288-3113.
